New Sims 3 Town Life Expansion Pack

Wow so much new stuff coming for the Sims 3! A new Town Life Stuff pack is supposedly coming out July 26, although this is not sure. The pack is basically like all of the Stuff packs that come out for the Sims; it basically comes with a few new cool looking items and clothes, but doesn't really add anything more to the game. Here is the description from http://www.thesims3.com/game/sp4 :
Although there is no trailer for this Stuff pack, here are some pics of whats to come, also from the Sims website:

Correct me if i am wrong, but in the third picture, in the building in the corner with the slanted roof that is orange, blue and yellow, I think I see curved walls, which I think will be a cool addition for the game. I am looking forward to this pack, because its always nice to have some new stuff in your game, especially when you are like me and build houses a lot.

SIms 3 coming out with new Pets expansion pack!

The Sims has announced earlier this month that they are releasing a new Sims expansion pack, called Sims Pets, available some time this fall. Although I do not know too much about this new expansion pack, it seems like it will be pretty cool. Along side all the usual pets like cats and dogs, the new expansion pack will include horses! Here is the description of whats to come from http://www.thesims3.com/content/en_US/promo/pets/pets.htm so just click the picture to make it bigger so you can read it.
Also, here is the trailer from EA's youtube channel:

All in all, this looks kind of fun, but im not as excited for it as I was for the generations or the night life ones. This one seems a bit boring to me, but I will let you be the judge of that.

Cool Glitch in the Sims 3

I noticed a really cool glitch (if you can call it that) that happens in The Sims 3 when you age your Toddler Sim into a Child. While they are aging, if you pause at the right moment, your Sim turns into a overgrown and stretched baby! Here is a pic to help explain:
To do this you have to have perfect timing. First of all don't fast-forward while they are aging up, just play time. Then when you see sparkles start to form around your Sim, keep pressing pause and play over and over again until the image you see on the screen appears as above. Good Luck! :)

The Sims 3 Generations Expansion Pack Review

Yay, I can finally post a review about the new expansion pack! The best way to explain this pack is through pictures so this is going to be kind of long :)

Young Adulthood:
My two Sims stargazing
I started out by making a young couple who would fall in love. With the new expansion pack, instead of just flirting over and over again until your Sims get into a relationship, and then get married, now the Sims can go out on dates, give each other romantic gifts like flowers, and stargaze together.

date to the movies.
When it comes time that your Sims want to get married, before the big day, they can throw bachelor/bachelorette parties. These parties are much funner then regular Sims parties because not only do they last longer (the bachelorette party lasted 11 Sim hours, and the bachelor party lasted 7 Sim hours), you can also do crazy things such as crashing on the floor, spraying "fizzy nectar" on people, as well as have dancers come to spice up the night!

Shirtless male dancers came to my bachelorette party
The woman dancers dressed as slutty policewoman came
to my bachelor party.
One of my Sims crashed on the floor.
After a night of partying, your Sims are finally ready to get married. To prepare, your Sims have to buy an alter to get married at, as well as wedding cake to cut after the vows are made. Also, they have to buy many chairs for the guests to sit at, and tables for the guests to eat at. I chose to have an outdoor wedding at night (because my Sims are vampires lol), but you can also do it indoors.
You may kiss the bride.

Babyhood:
After getting married, I decided to have my Sims have a child. So they got to woohooing and my Sim got pregnant with twin girls.

There was not really anything new to do with the Sim babies, except that now you can take them on a stroll with strollers at the park.

Toddlerhood:
The new expansion pack comes with lots of great new backyard items to create a playground for your Sims.
The playground in my backyard.
Once the twins aged up into toddlers, there was a bit more that I could do with them, but not much. You still have to teach the toddlers to walk/talk/use the toilet, but you can also let them play on some of the stuff on the playground, although for most of them you have to be a child.

Childhood:
When your kid ages up into a child, you can choose to send them to boarding school, or public school. There are different types of boarding schools to send your child to, some fancier then others.

boarding school.
When your child is in boarding school, they become non-playable characters, which was kind of disappointing because I wanted to be able to control my children, so I took them out of boarding school and brought them back home.

Children Sims can do a lot more then they used to be able to do. First off they can play with all the stuff at the playground, from hopscotch, to slip-n-sliding, to playing in the tree house. The tree house can also be used for woohooing with the older Sims. (hehehe)

Your child Sim can also make potions with the chemistry set, and play pranks such as making the shower dye another Sims hair yellow (not permanently) or planting a whoopee cushion in the couch.

screen.
Teenagehood:
Once your Sim is a teen, they can play even more pranks (and get in trouble for doing them), they can learn to drive and receive their driving certificate, and they can throw better parties, as well as do many of the things that the child Sims can do, besides playing in the playground.

Whats better then learning how to drive in a Ferrari California.
(The Ferrari is is a mod, not from the game)

For some odd reason, the Sims slept outside during the
sleepover.

Pillow fight!
In the middle of the school year (a few Sim days) your sims can attend prom, either with a date, or with out. In the beginning, your Sim, and maybe date, get picked up by a white limo.

During the night, your Sim can be voted prom queen or king, get into a relationship with their date, get into a fight with their crushes boyfriend/girlfriend, and many other things. But you cannot control your Sim, you just receive updates while they are there. After the prom is over, your Sim comes home with a picture as a memory.

When you age your teen into a young adult, they also go through graduation where they receive their diploma. The graduation day comes up a few days after you age up, so don't worry if it does not happen right away. The graduation consists of your Sim going into the town hall, where you here graduation music and names being called off, then they walk out and throw their diploma in the air. You can hang your diploma on a wall or just keep it in your inventory.

Summing it Up!:
Whew, that was a lot to cover! I do not have any information on Adulthood or Old Age because I got my Sims a potion to never age past young adulthood with my life time points, so you will have to get the game to find that out. Other new thing that came with the game were the nurturing trait, and the rebellious trait.

Overall I give this expansion pack an 8. I really liked this pack, but i feel as if they could have done a bit more with it. For example, the pack does not come with a new town, so you are stuck using the old ones. Also, i wish they made the schools a bit more interactive, like they did with jobs in the ambitions pack. But I do like that aging Sims up is not as boring as it used to be. I would recommend this pack!

Just got the Sims Generations!

I just got the Sims 3 Generations, and so far I am liking it. I will post a review in a few days, with some pics and descriptions, so look forward to that. Here is a sneak peek:
