New Sims 3 Poll Gives Insight For Whats To Come

On the Sims 3 website (http://www.thesims3.com/), there is a poll asking what game features you want. The four options given tell us that the Sims is going to come out with a new expansion pack (or maybe a new game entirely). Here are the four options:
The first one (Social features) does seem kind of cool, but i'm not that much of a fan of online play with games like the Sims. I feel as though it would take a bit of the fun away because then people will focus more on making their town/house hold more impressive rather then actually playing the game.

The second option (New ACTIVE entertainer career) is my least favorite one, because I think that the idea is just too similar to the Ambitions expansion pack. Also, with cheats* like motherlode and testingcheatsenabled, my Sims don't need to have a job.

The third option (Run your own entertainment resort) seems really cool, and I would buy this if it came out, but I don't think that it is for the Sims. This idea seems more like a Tycoon game, like Roller Coaster Tycoon or Zoo Tycoon.

The last option (Run a full resort town), I think, is the best option. I feel as though it wont change the game play too much, but it will still make the game a lot better, kind of like the Night Life expansion pack, which didn't really change the game play, but made it a lot better. I voted for this option.

Here are the results:
As you can see, most people agree with me that the last option is the best option. If you agree (or disagree) I think you should go and vote. (when you get to the Sims 3 homepage, click on the tab that says community to find this poll).

*If you want to use the cheats on the Sims, press CTRL-SHIF-C on your keyboard, then a blue text bar will appear at the top. Type in help and press enter, then a full list of cheats you can use will appear. If you use the testingcheatsenalbled cheat, and then type help, more cheats will appear.

The Sims Medieval Review

This is what kingdom mode looks like
I had just recently purchased the new game, The Sims Medieval, and there is a lot to say about this game. In the game you can be a Knight, Wizard, Spy, and many other professions, although when you first start the game, you are the monarch.

You run your own kingdom by completing different quests in order to obtain resource points, which let you add new buildings in your kingdom. Each character has two traits, and one flaw that help shape the decisions they make during their quests. For example, the queen of my kingdom is blood thirsty, making her want to fight with people.
Your Sims can spar with people, like here where my queen is
fighting with the kingdoms spy. You can either spar, which is
friendly fighting, or duel, which is more intense.

I will first start off with all the negatives of the game, just so that i can end this review with a positive note. One thing that I did not like about this game was that there is no build mode, and the buy mode is not to good. Everything is pre-build, and you can not change any of the room sizes, or build your own house. Also, although the buy mode has quite a few items to buy, compared to how many things you can buy in the other Sims games, there is not that many options. Another problem with this game is that lack of family. In the other Sims, you can have children, and have a spouse (in this game you can have a spouse, but you can't control him/her). Another problem is that it you can only see half the interior of a building, unlike in other Sims where you can see all walls.
There are three religions in this game. Your Sims can be Jacobian,
Peteran, or Agnostic. Each religion (except Agnostic) has their own
priest. This pic is of the Jacobian Church.
When you are the monarch, you can sentence criminal Sims (or
Sims you just don't like) to the stocks. There you can choose
to throw eggs at them or spit on them.
On the other hand, this game has many positives. On great thing that I noticed the first time I opened the game was that it loads a lot faster then the Sims 3. Another thing that I really like about this game is that there are many quests to do, using all the characters in your town. (you can control multiple households in this game). And even if you ever finish all the quests, you can replay them, or try and receive all the achievements (like having a level ten knight, or having a certain number of buildings in your town).
The kingdom has a beast that lives in a pit. Brave Sims can choose
to jump in the pit and battle the beast. Also, your Sim can feed the
beast, like what my queen is doing here..
Over all, I would give this game a 7 out of 10. I think it is a really creative game, but I feel as though there was a bit more potential for this game to be better.

Sims 3 Stuff

If you're like me, addicted to having the best stuff for your Sims, then I have some good news for you! First off, I just stumbled across a website that lets you put really cool custom contents on your game. For example, I just got an Alfa Romeo for my Sims to drive.

Here is the link where I got this, plus other cool cars like an Audi R8, an Aston Martin, and a Rolls Royce. The link also has cars for the Sims 2. http://www.freshprincecreations.com/index.htm. When you get to the home page click downloads, then click the game that you have and it shows you a list of stuff to add to your game. Another great link with custom content like this is http://www.spring4sims.com/. Just look at the side bar for a list of items you can download.

The other great news is that the Sims 3 is coming out with a new expansion pack, called The Sims 3 Generations. Since I am not to good at giving descriptions, here is the description about it from the Sims 3 website:
Also, here is a video with more info:

The expansion pack is coming out on May 31, and I am so excited that I have already pre-ordered the game! If you want more details, visit: http://www.thesims3.com/game/ep4

Hello World!

My name is Nathalie, and because I am very bored, I decided that I want to create my own blog, just to post random things about the sims, so enjoy :)
